Hey Why Do ppl Flirt I mean I Flirt But I don't understand why I do It when I know I'll never get the guy He's either got someone or I'm not in to him But I still flirt *sighs* and I feel so bad doin it can U tell my why U flirt?

I flirt because it's really cool to get a positive response from it.

A positive response kinda' let's you know that you're appealling, and sexy. I guess there's also an element of wishful thinking sometimes, but I sometimes flirt with folks that I have absolutely NO interest in..

Sometimes I just do it to help someone feel better about themselves... (and pray like CRAZY that they don't suddenly fixate on you or something).

I flirt because I like the temporary attention. Women like to feel sexy and that feeling of sexiness empowers us. Flirting makes us feel desirable and sexy!
i aint gunna lie if the guy isnt single i flirt hoping he will like me better i dont mean to do it but i do when i find out he does i feel bad and i stop flirting with him but i mostly only flirt if i like a guy and want him to like me and it comes naturally i dont ever mean to do it but i do lol so yea

Basically we flirt b/c we're trying to attract attention. We want to feel confidence and just beautiful. When someone flirts with you, it means that they find you attractive and they would possibly entertain the thought of getting with you. It's a great ego boost quite honestly.
Because girls wanna make sure that guys are attracted to them ... even the ones that they are not interested in...
